GO-TRIP tours and cruises travel website
Techcelerant built the GO-TRIP travel website for tours and cruises, with destination search, hot locations, filtered tour results and best-seller trips.
First published

GO-TRIP is a travel platform that helps people discover destinations and book tours and cruises around the world. Techcelerant designed and built the website at voyagescope.com. It combines a search-first homepage with destination guides, a Hot Locations grid, visual best-seller trips and filtered results pages for tours and cruises.
The client
GO-TRIP serves travelers who want both inspiration and a way to book. Some arrive knowing they want a London walking tour or a Mediterranean cruise. Others want to browse destinations and read about local culture first. The platform lists tours and cruises from many operators, so the site has to handle a large and varied catalog.
The problem
Travel sites tend to split in two. Guide sites are full of photos and stories but make booking hard. Booking sites are efficient but feel like a database. The client's team wanted a site that did both: help people get excited about a place and then let them find and compare trips without leaving.
The catalog also needed strong filtering. A city like London can have hundreds of tours across walking, food, history and day trips. Without good filters, results pages become an endless scroll.
What we built
We built a travel platform with a guide-style front end and a structured booking back end.
- A homepage hero titled "Best Travel Experience" with a photo of two travelers reading a map and a search bar for destination and date.
- An Explore Hot Locations grid with small photo tiles for popular cities, each linking to its destination page.
- A stats row that shows the size of the catalog and community.
- A Why be a Local Expert section that explains the platform's local guides, with icons and a night photo of a campfire.
- A Best Seller section with a large grid of destination photos covering cities and coasts around the world.
- Results pages, such as Tours in London and Europe Cruises, with a filter sidebar for category, duration, price, language and more, plus result cards with photo, title, rating, price and a book button.
- Cruise results with filters for cruise line, length and departure month.
Design decisions
We used a soft blue and white palette with a deep navy for buttons and the header. Blue reads as calm and trustworthy, which matters when people are spending money on trips far from home. Destination photos supply the rest of the color.
The homepage moves from inspiration to action. Search comes first for visitors who already know where they want to go. The Hot Locations grid and Best Seller photos follow for those who want to browse. Both lead to the same structured results pages.
Results pages share one template for tours and cruises. The filter sidebar changes its options by product type, and the cards keep the same layout. Travelers who learn to use one results page can use them all.
We kept result cards compact so shoppers can compare several trips at once without scrolling. Key details, price and the book button line up on the right side of every card. For more on organizing a site with a big catalog, see our guide to internal linking strategy.
The result
GO-TRIP now has a website that works as both a travel guide and a booking tool. Visitors can search directly, browse hot destinations or explore best sellers, then narrow tours and cruises with detailed filters and book from the results page. The local expert content gives the platform a reason to visit before a trip is planned.
The client's team can add destinations, tours and cruises to the catalog and they appear in search, grids and results automatically.
