Glow Car Wash runs express car washes and sells unlimited wash memberships. Techcelerant built its website: an online front door for the business that explains the wash options, promotes the monthly plans and special deals, and gives drivers a reason to pull in. The site uses the brand's water drop mascot, bright greens and blues, and real photos from inside the wash tunnel.

The client

Glow Car Wash is a local express wash. Drivers stay in the car while it moves through the tunnel, and they can add extra services such as tire shine, a ceramic coat or an undercarriage rinse. The business relies on two kinds of customers: drivers who stop in once, and members who pay for unlimited washes and come back often.

The problem

Most car wash websites list packages in a table and stop there. That does little to sell a membership, which is where a wash business gets steady income. Glow needed a site that made the unlimited plan the first thing a visitor sees, and changed its offer with the seasons.

The add-on services also needed explaining. Names like "triple foam polish" mean little until you see them. Glow wanted drivers to understand each add-on before they reached the pay station, so they could choose quickly.

Finally, the brand needed a personality. Express washes can look alike, and Glow wanted to feel friendly and family oriented.

What we built

  • A seasonal hero banner. The autumn version reads "Stay Shining all Autumn long with Unlimited Washes," with the mascot giving a thumbs up over fall leaves and a starting offer for the plan.
  • A "Glow Express Car Wash" section that explains how the express wash works.
  • A homepage video filmed from the back seat, showing a child watching the colored foam and lights in the tunnel.
  • An "A La Carte Menu" page with a photo tile for each add-on, including a ceramic coat, rain repellent, triple foam polish, tire shine and an undercarriage wash.
  • An "About Glow Car Wash" page with a short story of the business and an aerial photo of the wash with its signage and vacuum stations.
  • Photo panels of the tunnel entrance and unlimited wash signage, so drivers recognize the location when they arrive.
  • A top bar for current deals and a short header menu.

Design decisions

The mascot leads. A cartoon water drop with a big smile sits in the hero on every seasonal banner. It makes the brand easy to remember, and it gives the client's team a character they can reuse on signs and social posts.

Color follows the logo. Bright green and deep blue carry the header, buttons and headings. The tunnel photos already have strong blues and purples from the lights, so the site keeps its own backgrounds white or light gray and lets those photos supply the color.

On the a la carte page, each add-on has a photo, a name and one sentence. A photo of water beading on paint explains a ceramic coat faster than a paragraph does. The tiles sit in a simple grid so a driver on a phone can scroll the full list in a few seconds.

We built the hero so the season can change without a redesign. The client's team swaps the background, the headline and the offer for spring, summer, autumn or winter, and the layout stays put.

The tunnel video shows what the wash feels like from inside the car. A family audience responds to that, and it makes the visit feel like a small outing.

The result

Glow Car Wash now has a site that sells its membership from the first screen. Drivers can see every add-on with a picture before they arrive, read about the business and recognize the location from the photos. The client's team can run seasonal campaigns and special deals by updating the hero and the top bar. The mascot and colors tie the website to the signs at the wash.
