Maestro Pizza UAE ordering app
Techcelerant built the Maestro Pizza UAE ordering app with a build-your-own pizza tool, points, promo codes, notifications and multilingual support.

Maestro Pizza is a pizza chain in the United Arab Emirates known for its signature recipes and its meter-long Piano pizza. Techcelerant designed and built its ordering app for iOS and Android. The app lets customers browse the full menu, build their own pizza, collect points, use promotion codes, save favorites and order in more than one language.
The client
Maestro's menu goes beyond a standard pizza list. It has its original recipes, a chef's selection, appetizers, desserts and drinks, plus the Piano: a long pizza where customers pick several flavors and dips. The chain runs regular deal boxes and promotions, and its customers in the UAE speak a range of languages.
The problem
Ordering through third-party delivery apps didn't show Maestro's menu the way the client's team wanted. Custom orders like the Piano were hard to explain, and promotions were buried among other restaurants. The chain also had no direct way to reward repeat customers or send them offers.
The app needed to:
- Present the full menu, including custom and signature items, clearly.
- Let customers build their own pizza.
- Reward repeat orders with points and support promotion codes.
- Work for customers who prefer Arabic or English.
What we built
The home screen combines deals, menu navigation and products:
- A header with the Maestro logo, the customer's wallet balance in AED, and their points total.
- A swipeable carousel of current deals, such as combo boxes with a pizza, sides and dessert.
- A row of category pills for Promos, Pizzas, Appetizers, Desserts and Drinks, with a search button at the start and a cart button with an item count at the end.
- Sub-filters for pizza lines, such as Piano, The Originals and Chef's Selection.
- Product cards with an image, description and a "+" button for adding to the cart.
- A "Create your own pizza" card that opens a builder for choosing crust, sauce and toppings.
- Promotion code entry at checkout.
- A wishlist for saving favorite orders.
- In-app notifications for deals and order updates.
- A multilingual interface, so customers can use the app in their preferred language.
Design decisions
We used deep green and soft sage for the product cards, with Maestro's red, green and orange logo at the top. The greens are calm enough to let food photos stand out while still feeling like the brand.
Product cards come in two heights and sit in a staggered grid. That gives long descriptions, like the Piano's explanation of how to pick flavors and dips, room to breathe, while simpler items like the Margarita stay compact.
The pizza builder gets its own card at the top of the pizza list. Custom orders are a big part of Maestro's appeal, and putting the builder beside the regular menu means customers see the option without hunting for it.
Showing points and wallet balance in the header was a deliberate choice. Customers see what they've earned every time they open the app, which gives them a reason to order directly.
The layout was built to support right-to-left text, so the interface reads correctly in Arabic as well as English.
The result
Maestro Pizza UAE has its own ordering app on the App Store and Google Play. Customers can browse the whole menu, build a pizza from scratch, order the Piano with their choice of flavors, earn points, apply promotion codes and use the app in their own language. The client's team can run deals through the home carousel and reach customers directly with notifications.
Our post on app store optimization covers how to help an app like this get found once it's live.
