Clicky online shopping app for fashion and home
Techcelerant built the Clicky shopping app with Google and Facebook sign-in, a scrolling product feed, category browsing, a wishlist and coupons.

Clicky is an online store that sells clothing, footwear, jewelry and home goods. Techcelerant designed and built the Clicky shopping app for iOS and Android. The app lets people sign in with Google or Facebook, browse a large catalog by department and category, scroll a product feed, save items to a wishlist and apply coupons at checkout.
The client
Clicky carries a broad range for the whole family. Its catalog spans western wear and ethnic wear, jeans and heels, kids' clothing and products for the home. Its customers shop often and look for deals, so a fast way to browse and a clear view of current offers matter to them.
The problem
A catalog this wide is hard to show on a phone screen. The client's team needed shoppers to reach the right department quickly, discover products they weren't searching for, and finish checkout without filling in long forms. Account creation was another hurdle: asking new customers to set a password before they could save anything turned many away.
The goals were:
- Make sign-up nearly instant.
- Organize a large catalog so it's easy to scan on a small screen.
- Keep people browsing with a feed of products.
- Support saved items and coupon codes.
What we built
The app is organized around departments, then categories, then a feed:
- Google and Facebook sign-in, so new customers can create an account with one tap and start saving items right away.
- Department tabs at the top of the home screen: Men, Women, Kids and Home.
- A full-width promotional banner, such as the "Look stylish, get inspired" campaign, linking to a curated selection.
- A "Popular Category" row of round image buttons for jeans, ethnic wear, heels and jewelry.
- Category blocks like "Western Wear" laid out as a grid, with tiles for tops and tunics, T-shirts and tank tops, jeans, and pants and trousers.
- A scrolling feed of product images further down, so shoppers can keep browsing without picking a category.
- A wishlist for saved items and coupon entry in the cart.
- A cart icon with a live item count, plus search, in the top bar.
Design decisions
Clicky's catalog is broad, so we layered navigation from general to specific. Department tabs come first, then a row of popular categories, then grouped category blocks, then the open feed. A shopper can stop at whatever level suits them.
The popular categories use round photo thumbnails with short labels. Circles read as tappable buttons and stand apart from the square product photos in the feed, which helps people tell navigation from products.
The category grid pairs a short text label with a small product cutout. Each tile is easy to read at a glance, and the layout fits four categories in the space of one banner.
We used red for the cart badge and promotional banners and kept everything else on white. The red draws attention to offers and the cart count, the two things a deal-minded shopper checks most.
The result
Clicky now has a shopping app on the App Store and Google Play. New customers can sign in with an account they already have, find a department in one tap, browse by category or scroll the feed, save items, and use coupons at checkout. The client's team can promote campaigns through the home banner and keep popular categories at the front of the app.
We wrote more about reducing drop-off at sign-up and checkout in our post on reducing cart abandonment.
