Peco Car Wash equipment website and parts catalog
Techcelerant built the Peco Car Wash website: a car wash equipment catalog, a part number finder, product pages, distributor search and owner resources.
First published

Peco Car Wash Systems makes car wash equipment and parts for wash owners and operators. Techcelerant designed and built its website, a platform that gives owners easy online access to equipment, replacement parts and support. The site makes it simple to find the right part, reach a distributor and keep a wash running.
The client
Peco builds the machinery inside a car wash: brushes, wraps, washers, conveyors and the components that keep them moving. Its customers are wash owners, operators and maintenance staff. When a part wears out, a bay can sit idle until the replacement arrives, so speed matters to them more than anything else on the site.
The problem
Car wash equipment is technical. A single machine can have many parts, and each part has its own number. Owners often know the part number from the old part in their hand but not the product name. A catalog organized only by category makes them hunt.
Peco also sells through distributors and wanted the site to send buyers to them when that made sense. And it wanted to reach people who were thinking about opening a car wash, an audience that needs a very different message from someone ordering a replacement brush.
What we built
- A homepage that opens with "The highest-quality car wash systems & equipment" over a close-up of a working wash, with buttons into systems, equipment and parts.
- A "Want to become a car wash owner?" section for people starting a new wash.
- A "Stronger. Smarter. More dependable." block that introduces Peco's equipment lines.
- A rotating product feature, for example a machine under the line "What's hot: glow to make your wash grow."
- A "Find Your Gear" parts search. Buyers can enter a part number such as P12345 or choose an equipment line and category from dropdowns.
- Equipment pages that group products by line, such as turret equipment, with photos of each machine.
- Product pages with the full part name and number, a product photo, an add to cart or quote button, a description and a "You may also need" row of related parts.
- A red band with two quick actions: "Find a distributor" and "Order your parts here."
- A dark footer with the logo, contact phone number, product links and company information.
Design decisions
The palette comes from the Peco logo: red, black and white. Red marks every action and every key heading. Black backgrounds give the homepage and the parts search a heavy, industrial feel, and they make product photos of bright yellow and blue machinery stand out.
We built the parts search around how owners actually look for parts. The part number field comes first, because that is what most of them have. The equipment and category dropdowns are there for buyers who do not have a number. The search sits high on the page with a large "Find your gear" headline, so it is the first thing a returning customer sees.
Product pages keep part numbers in the title. A maintenance tech comparing two similar wraps can confirm the right one at a glance. The related parts row helps them order the brackets or fittings that go with a machine in the same visit.
The "become an owner" content uses large type and a short pitch. That audience is early in a big decision, and they need a reason to call before they need specs.
The distributor finder and parts ordering sit together in one band near the footer of every page. Whatever page a buyer lands on, those two options are one scroll away.
The result
Peco now has a website where owners can find a part by number or by machine, check the details and order or get a quote. Buyers who prefer a distributor can find one from any page. People exploring car wash ownership have their own starting point. The client's team can add new equipment lines and parts to a catalog that is already organized the way its customers search.
