RB Medical Supply ecommerce website for medical supplies
Techcelerant built the RB Medical Supply online store: medical supply categories, popular products, secure ordering and free shipping promotions.
First published

RB Medical Supply sells medical supplies and equipment to healthcare professionals and to individuals buying for home care. Techcelerant built its online store. The site carries a wide range of products, from disposable medical items to wellness goods, with secure ordering and delivery to the customer's door.
The client
RB Medical Supply stocks the everyday products that clinics, schools, care homes and families go through quickly: gloves, masks, wipes, disposable medical products, respiratory supplies and wellness items. Its buyers include purchasing staff placing repeat orders and caregivers who need one item for a family member.
The problem
A medical supply catalog is large and practical. Buyers know what they want and they want to order it fast. They need to see pack sizes and counts clearly, because a case of wipes and a single pack look the same in a photo.
RB Medical Supply also serves several industries, and each one buys a different slice of the catalog. A school nurse and a physical therapy clinic should not have to dig through the same long list. The store needed a structure that worked for both a quick reorder and a first-time visitor.
What we built
- A homepage with a rotating hero banner. The "Free Shipping!" slide shows boxed stock on warehouse shelves beside featured products.
- A "Product Categories & Industries Served" section of photo tiles, covering areas such as personal protective equipment, disposable medical products, respiratory products, wellness products, physical therapy and school supplies.
- A "Popular Products" carousel with product photos, names and an add to cart button on each card.
- A full menu bar under the header with every main department, so buyers can jump straight to a category.
- Category pages such as "Wellness Products," with a banner photo, a short introduction and a sidebar list of all categories.
- Product pages, for example "Baby Wipes," with the pack count in the title, a price, a quantity selector, add to cart and a short list of product details.
- A header with search, account, currency and cart, plus a contact line at the top for buyers who prefer to call.
- Secure checkout with delivery options for business and home orders.
Design decisions
The site uses a navy menu bar, white pages and gold accents on the logo. Navy anchors the navigation, which buyers use more than anything else on the site. The white space around products keeps the catalog calm, even with many items on screen.
We put the full category list in the menu bar instead of hiding it behind one "Shop" button. Repeat buyers know their department. Showing it in the header saves them a click on every visit.
The homepage pairs product categories with the industries RB serves. A visitor who does not know the catalog can start with their own setting and find the products that fit it.
Product titles carry the pack details, such as wipes per pack and packs per case. Buyers compare medical supplies by count, so we put the count where they will read it first. The quantity selector and add to cart button sit right under the price.
Category pages have a sidebar that lists every department. A buyer on the wellness page can move to respiratory products without going back to the homepage. Large banner photos at the top of each category show what is inside before the product list starts.
The result
RB Medical Supply now has an online store where professionals and individuals can browse by category or by industry, check pack sizes and order with secure checkout. Repeat buyers reach their department from the menu bar in one click. Free shipping and seasonal offers have a home in the hero banner. The client's team can add products and categories as the range grows, and the structure keeps them easy to find.
Before launching a store like this, it helps to work through the questions to ask before launching an ecommerce website.
